CONFIDENCE

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in HIM,that if we ask anything according to his will , He hearth us. This bowled me over . I know I've read this many times before. BUT it never grabbed me the way it did today. The old time preachers ,preached that we needed to pray GODS will. WHY ? Because what we want may not be what God wants for us. As i understand this we are to have confidence , and trust that He will do whats best for us. NOT WHAT WE THINK IS BEST, HE KNOWS what we don't . Everything we think is important is not always good for us. The things we've been taught over the last 30 years has left this one Truth out along with many others . We need to know these truth's . So pray but understand that it is going to be according to HIS will as to what we get , Trust HIM ,He'll do whats best.
