PERFECT FAITH
One day my oldest son came home from school with one of his friends toys. He handed it to me and said, "My friends toy broke and his Dad couldn't fix it so I told him my Dad could." With that he turned around and went outside to play. He didn't stand there and proceed to tell me how to fix it, or tell me when it needed to be done. He just knew once he put it in Daddy's hands it would be fixed. So many times we come to God with our broken "toys" and ask him to fix them, but then we proceed to tell him how we want him to fix them and what time we want it done by. We must have perfect faith to believe that once we put something in God's hands he will fix it the best he can. If we limit his ability by putting our hands in the way by trying to help him fix it, he will back away and let us continue to make a mess of our lives and wait until we are ready to totally surrender the situation to him and walk away knowing he will take care of it. Trust him. He knows what is best for our lives. He may not fix it the way we want it done, but he will fix it right and at the right time.
