Pride of Possessions

1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh. the lust ofthe eyes and the pride of life, is not of the father but is of the world. Bible puts it like this; For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh, and the desires of the eyes, and the pride of possessionns-is not of the father," verse 17" And the word will passing away along with its desires. So everything that we see and want is going to pass away. This world is were we all want to be. Why? Because of Loving GOD, we are running as fast as we can to get all that we can, thinking we're going to live on and on. But just like this world we pass on to meet our maker. Life is a vapour "JAMES 4:1-4" We càre little for the next guy, but we love our things, nobody better mess with our stuff. We lust after everything there is. If we have a good wife, or husband we look for a better one, a good house, a good car, good kids we want better, nothing we have is good enough. This is the most selfish generation ever. We care for no one but ourselves and our stuff. Maybe we care for our family, maybe a littl for our church family, but we care nothing for the stranger. We are warned here that all things we want and lust after will be gone. Jesus was the Lord of Glory he had nothing, he taught to love, neightbor, enemy, and to LOVE GOD.
