Psalm 98:4
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise and rejoice, and sing praise. Music, singing, and praising the Lord with a thankful heart will draw you closer to God, and he will come down to followship with you. Worshiping God drives out worldly thoughts. It gives us victory, and we find rest in the presence of the Lord. (Acts 16:25) Paul and Silas was in prison they had been beaten, and their feet were in stocks. They begain to pray, sing, and worship God even though they were in pain, and uncomfortable.
